Users who decide to use the feature and partake in the process will have their privacy and anonymity protected any data they provide can’t be linked to individuals or their devices, nor can it be linked together for a user or set of users. To enhance the coverage and quality of Brave Search, its maker also launched the Web Discovery Project (WDP), which allows users to pitch in and improve the search engine by anonymously contributing data. The first countries to make the change are the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, where Google will be replaced by Brave Search as the default search engine.
